Duffy assembly

Yesterday all of Paihia School had a Duffy assembly. A lady came in to talk to us about books and her made up planet. Her name was Zinki. She was nice and told us a lot about herself. We sang the Duffy song and did the actions. Her skirt was also very short. I liked singing the song and doing the actions!

Last week Te Ngahere were doing a google drawing all about our writing goals and what we need to improve in the class and  after we're done we had to show the teachers that we were finished.

ice cream writing

On Friday we made some delicious vanilla ice cream. We had work with a buddy, Lennix and I worked together, we got a Bag and put in 1 cup of cream , ½ teaspoon of vanilla and 2 tablespoons of sugar. For our freezers  we added in 6 tablespoons of salt and a couple of handfuls of ice then we took it outside and shaked it until it was ice cream feeling. The whole class got to eat their yummy vanilla ice cream.

It tasted salty and creamy and filling, I would definitely make it again because it was yum!!

Writing Fidget spinner

We are learning how to create a persuasive piece of writing.

I think fidget spinners should be allowed at school because

if you are bored  you  can play with it in class and at school and because they are that good to play with.

Secondly, if you were a fidgety person you could  just sit on a wobbly chair and play with it  

For these several reasons for  I think that Fidget Spinners should be allowed  at school. I think from what I have experienced I think that they are really fun toys.   

 

   

The tangelo Tarquinn \\It looks like An josey tangelo Its slippery and so josey and it slips out of your hands it smells like an fresh Josey tangelo. I was learning to write what it feels like smells like and tastes like. One idea at a time, one idea at a time was my other learning goal. I need to concentrate more.
